Last day of Online sales until the NEW YEAR!

hi there….hi….(steps up on soap box)

I just wanted to tell you why I paint and sell art. I don’t paint to show off my skills…I can see they always need refining and I’m incredibly self-conscious. There is always someone (everyone) to learn from….I do not paint to be better than other people or be the best, I see myself as a part of all the artist and history of makers. I do what I do because it is the truest representation of what I’m meant to be doing. Making something out of nothing, making hope (for at least myself) from the pain (we all got it), making something with color and light. I get down on myself too a lot, that I don’t make more time do better things for others, that I’m not better…but this art making is my way to be better.

I know the world can be shitty, I’m not blind to the persistent racism, the bullies, the pervasive fear and anxiety that makes enemies of ourselves and others at times. I never know what to say in public facebook contexts…Making art is one of the best ways I know how to serve a higher love right now, to connect, to have people find themselves in the work, to see and be seen.

The goal is to be a thriving business in Western Mass that can employ others in a fun job, teach students looking for a way to make money from their art, and do what I can to help little animals and our dwindling coral reefs with part of what I make from sales. Lastly of course I want to be able to take care of myself and my loves. I hope you see the meaning in doing what you do. You are important. You are loved. What you do and don’t do matter. I kinda know you know that because I wouldn’t know this if it weren’t for my friends.

AND I’m a pusher! ….. Last day to order fresh profesh prints and luscious, painterly paintings. You can save 10% by putting in COLOR10 in checkout.
