I like a little stormy sea too

The paintings are started to change.  I’m enjoying the studying of the seas and water themes still, but trying to explore some different things about the moods.  Every day as a painter I’m learning something new about painting techniques and focusing in on composition and color in a piece.  I mean, yes, both of these are blue, but even with one color, there are so many ways to describe something with blue.  What do I mean? Adding a little green, some pinks, light yellows, soft graphite grays, a little purple… and it can keep going.  I’m enjoying the ever evolving exploration of color in paint, and that keeps me coming back.

You can take these ocean seas home from my little online shop.
