Have you Heard?

Have you heard the heart musings of Shira E?  Shira is an amazing poet, writer, singer, songwriter, party shaker, magician of worlds that once upon a time used to live around Northampton, but headed for grander pastures in Brooklyn with her lovely love and fellow brilliant artist and Poet Angel Nafis.  I just wanted to share some of her topics she shares daily.  The first was poured today out of a sweet cup of honey tea.  I just feel so blessed to know that there’s a person like this out there who sometimes I get to hug, but who hugs many with such creativity and light.

Please do something nice for yourself today and check her out if you have some moments.

27/31 KEEPER OF TRUTH

Try not to tell a lie for one whole day.
Not even a little lie.

What happens?
What is a lie?
How does it feel to prioritize truth?

Are you uncomfortable, being a keeper of truth?
When does it feel glorious? When would you rather not?

28/31 WAIT

Wait where you are.
Wait for the sky to change.
Wait for dust to collect on your nose.
Your eyelids.
Your mouth.
Like snow.

When you finally sing what shape does it make?

21/31 BUILD A BRIDGE IN YOUR MIND

Build it out of feathers.
Build it out of honey.
Build it out of sleep.

Who dwells underneath it?
Where does it fly off to?
What does it connect?
