This is a commissioned portrait of Drew D.’s daughter Eileen.  I’m not sure how old she is right now.  Maybe 9 or 10?  I keep thinking of her as a 15yr old rolling her eyes at this giant painting of herself in the house when people ask if this is her.  I hope she can appreciate how sweet it is that her parents wanted to make something of her immersed in water and color.  I hope that once she turns 30 and looks again at the painting she sees a child who is glorious and loved.
