Painted on Glass

Right now I’m experimenting with painting on old window glass to get to play with resin layering a bit and to see if there is the potential to build from these two dimensional pieces into something that takes on a more sculptural form.

This week has seen the making of a few new light-hearted pieces to be shown at Northampton Arts Night out October 11th at Bang Bang Body Arts.  I’ll be continuing to work on these little projects while I also take on some bigger commissions this fall.   I love the way these repurposed windows can take on a new life and the shadow that they allow the painting to cast on the wall.
