Life Lived

Here’s to a life lived.

Miracles can be found in the weaves of our everyday lives.  They hold this life together.  Every line in a drawing is thoughtfully applied to the paper to render an image that can portray something more than words about a moment. For Mike and Brynn, this drawing captures the quiet time after Aaliyah was born and their first daughter Maya holds her new sister sitting in her Papas lap. Even when things get a tough, it’s important to remember the little joys present in our life. A nice way to provide that special touch to a life is a personalized drawing of our favorite glimpses into miracles.

Can you think of a special moment you want rendered in smoky grays, rich charcoal blacks and subtle whites. What memory of a person or time do you want to capture in a drawing?

I have created a new listing on my Etsy shop for other to create their own custom drawing to lovingly mark special times their lives.  You can find it by clicking here.

About scoutcuomo

Charcoal dust and eraser shavings, oil bars and sketch books, wood, gold pray paint, resin, overly soft blankets, and turpentine, feathers and coffee grinds.

  1. Both your post and the drawing convey such a feeling of peace, serenity and the fragility of life. The drawing reminds me of the Kathe Kollwitz–that same sense of life lived but yet one of struggle.
