To Dream

It’s early morn here.  I spent the entire night painting.  I’m nearly finished with the antique windows.  Somewhere around 1am I started on a commission to complete 7 windows with birds on them for Sticks & Bricks.  You can check them out below.  They’re in their first stages.

Around twilight, started and finished a little painting for my Uncle Tony.  For little piggy I really found the right kinds of images online and tweaked them together in this painting.  I wouldn’t really do his idea justice by explaining why he wanted this painting.  The story has to do with my grandpa telling his son, Tony, to believe in himself.  Tony is shocked by his current luck in life.  A sort of “when pigs fly…”  Well I guess they do.

  1. You do birds–of every kind–so well. You capture their vulnerability and their vitality all in paint!!
